Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Early in the morning, our well-trained tour guide shall pick you up from your accommodation-preferably a hotel or residence or any other agreed upon pickup point and later, he shall drive you to Maasai Mara. You shall drive past Mount Kenya along the way. Lunch is normally packed in lunch boxes. Maasai Mara is located at the Kenya-Tanzania border at the south-western part of Kenya. Upon arrival, you shall drive to your lodge for checkup, refreshment and later, you will continue to the park for the afternoon game drive. This wonderful game drive shall enable you to view different species of wildlife as well as enjoying several sceneries around the park. In the evening after sunset, you shall drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full day game drive at Maasai Mara

The Mara region around the Kenya and some parts of Tanzania forms one the best places to visit during your wildlife adventures. With national parks such as Maasai Mara and Serengeti, you wildlife expectation are always met. Maasai Mara is the most visited destination in Kenya. This wonderful national reserve is blessed with many species of wildlife which include the big 5- Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards, and Rhinoceros as well as other species. During this full day game drive, you shall drive to the park just to spot these wildlife and some of rare wildlife experiences. Early in the morning, you shall wake up for a pre-breakfast game drive; you shall drive to the park for a wonderful morning game drive. During this session, you shall spot wonderful morning experiences. With several species of wildlife within the park, you will not be short of experiences. Later you shall retreat to the lodge for breakfast, relaxation. After you shall travel back to the park for a mid-afternoon and afternoon game drive; one of the things that have made Maasai Mara so popular is the wildebeest migration. If you travel during the great wild migration which occurs around June-October; you are likely to witness millions of wildebeest and thousands of hundreds of Thomson gazelles, zebras, and elands crossing to the River for pasture and water. Later you shall retreat to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall drive off to Lake Nakuru national park via the Thompson falls. Lake Nakuru is one of the popular lakes in Africa notable for its millions of Flamingo that float on the lake. There are over 600 species of birds on Lake Nakuru which makes it one of the most important birding destinations in Kenya. You shall take a simple game drive around Lake Nakuru. You shall drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Samburu

Early in the morning, you shall drive to the park to explore the rhino’s sanctuary and Rothschild sanctuaries as well as other wildlife species that inhabit within Lake Nakuru National park which include lions, cheetahs, leopards, waterbucks and others. Later, you shall drive to Samburu with picnic lunch.

Day 5:  Samburu Game Drives

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will once again for a morning game drive in the plains of Samburu Game Reserve until late time to retire back for lunch at the lodge. The game reserve is located at the banks of river Ewaso Ng’iro offers it the benefits that attract several species of wildlife and birdlife. The water system provides a suitable ecosystem where animals can thrive. During the visit, there are lots of wildlife species to look out for and these include lions, cheetah, Cape buffalo, Elephants, Oryx, giraffes, Impala, warthogs, olive baboons, African leopard, waterbucks, and others. During the game drives, you shall be in a position to witness different ranges of wildlife and several wildlife experiences. Lunch will be at the lodge where you will take some rest before driving back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Samburu – Nairobi

Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall travel to the Samburu national reserve for a wonderful game drive. During the game drive, expect to watch Oryx, zebras, giraffes and others. Later, you shall pack up your bags and travel to Nairobi to mark the end of this wonderful trip.
