2 days gorilla trekking in Rwanda starting from Kigali

You shall be picked up either at the Kigali international airport, hotel, or any residence within Kigali by our professional guide and you shall be transferred to Volcanoes national park. Much as gorilla trekking is the most popular activity within the park, there are other activities present in the park-like golden monkey trekking, and others Volcanoes national park is home to several volcanoes but the most popular among them is Mount Karisimbi. The park garnered its name from the volcanoes.  On arrival around volcanoes national park, you shall be driven to your accommodation. Sometimes, gorillas roam around the lodges and if you are lucky enough, your gorilla trekking experience might start right at the lodge Accommodation options: Gorilla nest lodge (luxury), Volcanoes gorilla lodge (midrange), Muhavura lodge (budget)

Wake up early in the morning, take breakfast and pack your lunch in a lunch box. Our tour guide shall pick you up and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing. Afterwards, you shall start the trekking adventure, volcanoes national park is home to several endemic bird species and wildlife. Be expectant to view some of them as you are searching for the gorillas. Elephants, Buffaloes, golden monkeys and others are located within the park. Finally, once you spot the gorillas; you shall be allowed to stay with them for a period of 1 hour and during that time, you shall observe the silverback trying to protect its territory, the juvenile gorillas jumping from tree to tree playfully and probably the mother gorillas feeding its baby. Take as many photos as you can. Later you shall drive back to the lodge, freshen up and drive back to Kigali or transfer to Kigali International Airport.
