For a 14 days trip in Africa it is very viable to do a wildlife safari in the Northern Tanzania and fly to the Spice Island of Zanzibar for a beach extension. This is what this package involves.

For two weeks you will visit all the Northern Tanzania safari circuit highlights including Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National parks and the Ngorongoro Crater. After safari you will fly out of Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar and relax at a beach resort of your choice.

On this safari package we have included some nice standard luxury lodges and tented camps and a 4 star resort in Zanzibar. For a customized tour please contact us by email and we shall revise your itinerary with the accommodation that you prefer.

Arrival for this package is at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and departure is at Zanzibar International Airport. If you arrive or depart from another Airport we can still arrange your connection.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival Tanzania

Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by our Manager who will transfer you to your hotel/lodge in or around Arusha town. Overnight at Mount Meru Game Lodge or Lake Duluti Lodge. Lunch Box and dinner included.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Morning breakfast at your lodge in Arusha then you will picked and driven to Lake Manyara National Park. It is only 1.5 hours drive from Arusha to the gate and after registration we embark on our first game drives in the territories of the legendary tree climbing lions and hippos. We will do game drives all day exploring the wild in search of elephants, giraffes, smaller antelopes like dik dik and many other animals. At the Lake side you will get the chance to see hippos and any aquatic birds including flamingos, pelicans Egyptian geese and others. Late in the afternoon you will drive to Escarpment Luxury Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

You will be picked form your lodge at around 08.00 am after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Areas main Gate of Lodore where you will register then traverse the area to enter Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate. Lunch ( packed) will most probably be served at Naabi Hill gate or Visitors Center at Central Serengeti then you will continue with afternoon game drives for the rest of the day. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti National Park

This day will be spent exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti National park in search of the many species of animals and birds that can be spotted in the world-famous park. With a little luck, you can spot the Big 5 and much more. Depending on the time of travel you may also see the wildebeests Migration herds as they graze or on the move. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

Day 5: Ngorongoro

After a hearty breakfast at the lodge / tented camp we will check out and head back through the Naabi Hill Gate to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where we will stay at a lodge on the Crater rim. The afternoon can be spent doing a nature walk in the forests on the Crater rim ( at extra cost) or relaxing at the lodge. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

Day 6: Ngorongoro

A very early breakfast on this day is necessary so that we can descend into the Crater floor early enough before the crowds. This will be rewarded by a nice morning session of game drives in search of the Big 5 and many other animal and birds species that the 8th Wonder of the world boasts of. Lunch will be at the picnic site by the hippo poolside. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Zanzibar

Leisurely breakfast at the lodge then we will check out and drive slowly to Arusha town with some brief stops at Karatu and Mto wa Mbu. You will be dropped at Arusha Airport where you will take your domestic flight to Zanzibar Island. Pick you from Zanzibar Airport you will be transferred to your beach hotel. Overnight at Ocean Paradise Resort. Half Board.

Day 8-12: Zanzibar Beach

These days will be spent at the beach resort in the Spice Island of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean. Overnight at Ocean Paradise Resort / superior rooms.

Day 13: Spice tour & Stone Town tour

On this day we will transfer to Stone Town with a spot at a Spice Plantation. Guided by our very informative and knowledgeable Guide we will sample some of the finest spices that can be found in the Spice Island then proceed to the Stone Town where the afternoon will spent touring the historical town. Overnight at Tembo Hotel.

Day 14: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel then spend the morning at leisure. Depending on your departure time you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home. We can also arrange any domestic connection needed to Dar es Salaam fx or Nairobi or even back to Kilimanjaro International Airport. End of the Package.
