Located within the Samburu Game Reserve, Samburu Intrepids is ideally positioned along the Ewaso Nyiro River, a vital lifeline for the region’s wildlife. Access to the camp can be made via air or road. Daily flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport with Air Kenya or Safarilink land at Samburu airstrip, followed by a short 20-minute drive to the camp. For those preferring road travel, the journey from Nairobi spans about 345 kilometers, taking approximately 6 hours through scenic landscapes, including the settler towns of Nanyuki and Timau.
