Nyikani Camp Tarangire is strategically located to offer the best of Tarangire National Park. It’s accessible either by a 45-minute road transfer from the Tarangire Gate or by a quick 5-minute drive from Kuro Airstrip, ensuring that your safari adventure begins without delay. The camp is set amidst acacia trees, enhancing the natural feel and providing a habitat for various animals to wander close by. Its GPS coordinates (S 04 02’27.8″ E 036 03’44.2″) place you right in the heart of some of the park’s richest wildlife areas, where the sprawling plains meet dense woodlands, offering a diverse range of habitats to explore.

The camp offers 13 canvas tents, each with a wooden floor, providing a rustic yet luxurious stay:

• Guest Tents: 12 tents are available, where guests can choose between king, twin, or triple bed configurations, ensuring flexibility for different group sizes. Each tent includes:
  • A private veranda for wildlife viewing
  • Bedside tables, lighting, a writing desk, and a digital safe
  • En-suite facilities with a flush toilet, double washbasins, and a classic bucket shower
  • Power points with universal adaptors for charging devices
• Family Room: One tent is specifically designed for families, offering space and privacy.

The tents are spaced 15-20 meters apart to maintain privacy while allowing the sounds of the bush to envelop your stay. A morning coffee and tea butler service adds a touch of luxury to your wake-up routine.
