Day 1: Lusaka to Lower Zambezi National Park

This wonderful safari starts and ends in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia. The safari has been perfectly crafted and if you want to customize anything, you are always welcome. Early in the morning, preferably after your breakfast, our friendly and experienced tour guides shall come and pick you up from your pickup point. This could be a hotel or at the Lusaka international airport. If you want to be driven straight away from the airport, you need to have arrived in Zambia in the morning hours. Upon meeting our tour guides, you shall be highly welcomed and the tour guide shall brief you about what to expect. During this moment, you can always ask any question that you feel is necessary however asking does not only stop at that moment, you can ask later on during the safari. You shall be driven 203km from Lusaka in a very comfortable 4x4 safari car until lower Zambezi national park. Upon arrival, you shall check in your lodge, freshen up and take some lunch. Later, you shall move to the park for a simple game drive; dinner and overnight at your lodge of choice.

Day 2: Full day game drives at Lower Zambezi N. Park

Lower Zambezi national park being located on the northern river banks of River Zambezi can never disappoint in terms of wildlife. Normally wild animals prefer to live around the water bodies because there is an assured source of water and besides, some of the water body inhabits can be used as food. The park is stacked with several species of wildlife and some of the popular species include crocodiles, hyenas, cape buffaloes, Hippopotamus, Elephants, cape wild dog, Antelopes, lions and others. You shall be in position to witness some of these species and also watching them carry out their day-to-day activities. Early in the morning, you shall head to the park and drive around for a morning game drive. This is normally a moment to witness several carnivores hunting for their prey or feasting on the already assured meals. You shall retreat back to the lodge for breakfast. After some relaxation, you shall drive back to the park with packed lunch ready to spend the rest of the day carrying out a game drive. You shall participate in the game drive until dusk and later, drive back to the lodge. Enjoy a relaxing moment around the restaurant while you are sharing tales of day’s experience.

Day 3: Full day game drive.

To fully watch several experiences, you need to do another full day game drive.  During this day, you shall look out for some of the species which are you had missed spotting during the previous day. In addition, you shall have the chance of going for a night game drive in a quest to look out for nocturnal. It is a really great wildlife day. Like the previous day, you shall wake up. Drive to the park for the morning game drive and later come back to the lodge for breakfast. Later with your packed lunch, you shall head to the park for a game drive until dusk. Later, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full day game drive

One of the reasons why people tour national parks is to witness several living creatures within the park. National parks house several species of wildlife, birds, and nature. Taking a trip to a national park enables you to look out for all what the national park inhabits. During your visit to Lower Zambezi National park, you shall be able to witness several species of wildlife such as include Elephants, lion, crocodiles, hippopotamus, Cape wild dog, antelopes, leopards, cape buffaloes, hyenas and others. Early in the morning, you shall drive to the park for a morning game drive; you shall later drive back to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. Later, you will drive to the park with packed lunch and take a full game drive for the rest of the day. This is very insightful and carrying a camera is always encouraged as you shall be in a position to take several snapshots. After this game drive experience, you shall drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lower Zambezi National Park to Lusaka.

This is the last day of your safari. You shall wake up early in the morning, take some breakfast and later back your belongings to prepare for your journey to Lusaka. You shall drive to Lusaka to mark the end of this wonderful safari however if you have more than enough time, you can always extend this safari to include more activities and days.
