4 days double gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda

You shall be picked up at Kigali international airport or at any hotel, residence in Kigali by our tour guide and you shall be driven to volcanoes national park. Gorilla trekking is only possible in Volcanoes national park. On arrival, you will check-in at your lodge. There are several lodges near volcanoes national park and your choice is not limited to the ones listed below. You can make an informed decision after making your own research. Wake up early in the morning knowing that by the end of day, you would have experienced something that you have never experienced your entire life. Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing. During the briefing session, you shall be explained several facets about gorillas. You may ask questions if you have some. Afterwards, you shall start the exciting journey of searching for gorillas. Make sure that you are well equipped for the exercise. You shall be accompanied by an armed park ranger in the mountainous landscape as you are looking for traces of gorillas. The park rangers are knowledgeable about any gorilla trace and they shall be able to smooth guide you through the process. After some time, normally between 1-8 hours, you shall be able to spot the gorillas. Viewing the gorillas in their natural habitat shall automatically bring joy to you. You won’t stop being amazed by what you are seeing. During this time, you shall take several snap shots and after one hour, you shall return to the park headquarters. Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall go back to the park headquarters for briefing to start your second gorilla trekking. It is always advised to trek another group than the one which you trekked the day before to give you a slightly different experience. Early in the morning, after breakfast you shall drive to Kigali and depending on your time of departure if you are leaving that day, you may opt for a Kigali city tour where you shall visit the Kigali genocide memorial museum and other attractions within the city.
