This 3 day Tsavo East National park and Tsavo West National park safari in Kenya is a unique safari that is going to take you to Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National park.  The parks are both located in the same region and what separates them is the railway and A109 road. The parks are full adventure from spectacular wildlife, bird species, wonderful caves, longest lava flow in the world and so many more. Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East National park

This tour starts and ends in Nairobi. We normally don’t give specific pickup points. It is upon our clients to let us know where they shall be and from there; we can always make several suggestions. It is always preferred to be picked from the airport, hotel or residence. Get ready for this wonderful safari. Early in the morning after breakfast, our tour guide shall meet and greet you and later, you shall be driven to Tsavo East National park. Tsavo East National park is 240km away from Nairobi. The drive to the park takes about 5-6 hours depending on several conditions. Upon arrival; you shall directly check in your lodge, refresh, have lunch and later move to the park for an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East National park is blessed with a wide range of wildlife which includes East Africa hedgehog, East African red squirrel, Lion, Impala, small-spotted genet, bat-eared fox, hartebeest, vervet monkeys, blue duiker, caracal, baboon, aardwolf, Cape buffalo, cheetah, side-striped jackal, mongoose, spotted hyena, African hunting dog, Elands and other species. Some of the unique wildlife species to look out for are the man-eating lions and red-dusk Elephants. During the game drive, you shall have the opportunity of watching several bird species. The park inhabits over 600 species of birds. The yatta plateau which is the world’s longest lave flow is amazing to look at. This plateau stretches over 300km and the lava flow was as a result of the eruption of Ol donyo Sabuk Mountain. Later, you shall drive back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tsavo West National park

Although these two parks almost carry the same name, they are completely different in terms of wildlife experiences. Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall drive to Tsavo West National park for a morning game drive. There are milliards of wild animals of the park and some of the common species include nocturnal porcupine, crocodiles, Mongoose, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, lions, giraffes, zebras and others. You shall observe some of the conservation efforts made to save the Rhinos. The Ngulia sanctuary which nurses black rhinos is situated right in the park. You shall return to the lodge for lunch and later drive back for an afternoon game drive. One of the notable attractions that you can’t miss out during the game drive is the Mzima springs, the spring splashes out over fifty million gallons of water. After a wonderful game drive, you shall return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Tsavo west National park

This is the last day of your safari. After breakfast, you shall travel back to Nairobi to end the safari. If you are flying back home that same day, you shall be dropped at the airport.
