Day 1: Lusaka to Kasanka National park.

This tour starts and ends in Lusaka. However several pickup points within Lusaka can be chosen. Early in the morning, our tour guides shall come to your pickup point, brief you about the safari and later, he will start driving you to Kasanka National park in a very nice 4x4 safari car depending on how many you are. Our company has got a fleet of 4x4 safari car to enable you to drive to Kasanka National park in comfort.  Kasanka National park is located in Serenje district in the central province of Zambia. After a few hours’ drives, you shall arrive in the park. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge. There, you shall relax a bit, freshen up, take lunch and later plan on an afternoon game drive. This is normally a short drive just to introduce you to what it feels like taking a game drive through the wild however during the drive, you shall be in a position to encounter several wildlife species that inhabit within the park. Later, you shall be chauffeured back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full day game drive

This is the epitome of this safari. During this day, you shall be in a position to participate in 3 game drives- the morning game drive, the mid-afternoon game drive and the afternoon game drive. Although Kasanka national park is known for its fruit bats that migrate in millions, the park also inhabits several different species of wildlife- some of the species within the park include reedbuck, sable, buffalo, antelopes, hartebeest, Zebra, defassa waterbucks, lions, hyenas, white-tailed mongoose, honey badgers, African civet, Side-stripped jackal, Otter, Dwarf mongoose, caracals, Yellow-backed duikers, warthogs, Moloney’s monkey, rare blue monkey, Sitatunga and others.  Forest cobras, Large Nile monitors, African rock python, olive marsh snake, geckos, agama, skinks and other reptiles reside in the park. This is possible because of the different water system within the park. The park is one of the smallest national parks in Zambia.  Because of its size, there are high chances of viewing several species of wildlife that inhabit within the park. Early in the morning, you shall drive to the park, after going through the park checkup; you shall start your wonderful game drive experience. The morning game drive is peculiar. It enables you to view different wildlife species and experiences. Later, you shall return to the park for breakfast; after some relaxation time, you will drive back to the park for the rest of the game drive until dusk.  If you visit during October and November, which many tourists do, you are likely to view the greatest migration in Africa- over 10 million of fruit bats cross to the Mushitu Swamp evergreen forest in the park After the game drive, you shall drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Kasanka National park to Lusaka

This is final day of the safari. After your breakfast, you shall drive back to Lusaka to mark the end of this insightful 3 days Kasanka national park safari.
